🔋 The Start-Up Dance

You press the power button.

What happens?

A LOT — in just seconds.

Let’s break it down.

 

🔄 Step 1: Wake Up

  • The power supply sends electricity

  • The brain gets ready

  • The memory gets cleared

  • The screen waits

 

🧠 Step 2: Check Yourself

The brain runs a tiny program called a boot process.

It checks:

  • Are all parts working?

  • Is memory okay?

  • Is the keyboard connected?

If yes… move to next step!

 

💾 Step 3: Load the Operating System

The brain asks the storage:

“Can you load the main system?”

The storage sends over:

  • The system rules

  • The desktop layout

  • The things needed to use a mouse, keyboard, screen

This all goes into RAM.

 

🖥️ Step 4: Show the Home Screen

Now that everything is ready…

The brain tells the screen:

“Okay! Show the desktop!”

And boom — you’re in!
