Chemistry Crash Course

Chemistry is the science of matter 🧪 Matter means “anything that has weight and takes up space.”

Your body, water, air, food, medicines, plastic, fire, soap, perfume, batteries, stars, and even the screen you are reading from are all made of matter.

This course will teach you how tiny pieces of matter behave, join, break apart, store energy, release energy, and create the world around us ⚛️

We will begin with the smallest building blocks, called atoms. An atom is a tiny piece of matter, so small that you cannot see it with your eyes 🔬

Then we will learn how atoms join to make molecules, which are groups of atoms stuck together.

We will study reactions, acids, bases, salts, gases, metals, carbon chemistry, life chemistry, and the chemistry used in daily life ⚗️

Even though this is called a “crash course,” it will not be shallow. It will be fast, clear, and deep.
