About Course

French is a beautiful language spoken in many parts of the world. It is used in France, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, many African countries, and many islands too.

When you learn French, you are not just learning words. You are opening a door to new people, new places, new songs, new books, new foods, and new ways of thinking. 🌍

This course will teach French from the very beginning. That means we will not assume you already know anything. We will start with tiny pieces, like greetings, sounds, letters, numbers, and simple sentences.

Then we will slowly build bigger and stronger French skills, like asking questions, talking about yourself, describing things, and understanding everyday conversations.

French can look tricky at first because the spelling and the sound do not always match. For example, the French word bonjour means “hello,” but we do not say every letter the way it looks in English.

By the end, you will not only memorize phrases. You will understand how beginner French works, like a small language machine inside your mind. 🧠✨

What Will You Learn?

  • You will learn how to greet people, say your name, ask how someone is, and reply politely.
  • You will learn French pronunciation, which means how French words are spoken with the mouth.
  • You will learn the French alphabet and the special French accent marks, which are small marks above or under letters that can change the sound or meaning.
  • You will learn numbers, days, months, colors, family words, food words, school words, travel words, and common daily-life words.
  • You will learn how French nouns work. A noun is a word for a person, place, thing, or idea, like “girl,” “Paris,” “book,” or “happiness.”
  • You will learn gender in French. Gender means that many French nouns are treated as either masculine or feminine. Masculine means the word uses “le” or “un.” Feminine means the word uses “la” or “une.” This does not always mean the object is a boy or girl. It is just how French sorts words.
  • You will learn how to ask questions, say yes, say no, say “please,” say “thank you,” and speak politely.
