A warm science studio holds a glowing bulb connected to a cell, a green plant and a swinging pendulum. The Moon is visible through an arched window. This is a course invitation; the desk circuit is not a wiring instruction.
An original science field desk connects a growing plant, low-voltage cell, clock and Earth model. In the garden view, downward arrows show water entering soil beside a notebook. Shapes are schematic.

A CLOSER LOOK

Ask, test and read chemical clues

Use science to explain everyday observations, test ideas fairly and make thoughtful choices about the world around you.

See it. Try it. Make it yours.

  2. Build circuits and choose materials

  3. Explain changes and follow heat

NCERT Class 7 Science, beginner · What to know before you start

Bring with you: Read short everyday English sentences, count whole numbers, compare simple decimals, and add, subtract, multiply and divide. Familiar clock words include seconds and minutes; their conversions are taught here. Recognise familiar plants, animals, air, water and everyday objects. Know that solids keep their shape, liquids flow and gases spread. Formal Class 7 terms are taught before use.

Use science to explain everyday observations, test ideas fairly and make thoughtful choices about the world around you.

A complete English-medium course aligned with all twelve chapters of NCERT Curiosity, 2026–27. Online tasks check specific scientific reasoning; optional practical investigations and notebook work include review guidance and are not automatically certified.

By the end, you can…

  • Use fair tests and acid-base evidence to explain and improve a decision.
  • Trace electrical paths and choose materials using their properties and reactions.
  • Distinguish kinds of change and follow heat and water through connected systems.
  • Explain adolescent changes and choose respectful, healthy responses.
  • Measure periods and solve distance, time and speed problems with consistent units.
  • Connect animal digestion, absorption, transport, breathing and respiration.
  • Explain food-making, test its needs and distinguish transport and respiration.
  • Predict shadows and explain images using straight and reflected light paths.
  • Use rotation, revolution, tilt and shadow geometry to explain observations and evaluate claims.

For another Course

  • The older NCERT Class 7 Science edition, advanced derivations and verbatim textbook exercise solutions. Biographical dates and historical sidebars are optional reading, not assessed science outcomes.
  • Automatic grading of unseen experiments, unrestricted notebook writing or medical diagnoses.
  • Unsupervised chemical, hot-water or solar-viewing activities.
